5. Fujitora
Anime: One piece (1999 – On going)
Fujitora may be on the bad side, but even his skills impressed his opponents. It is said that there are too many blind and disabled Anime Characters. Every character has a different story with different circumstances and not everyone is able to give a striking blow to Luffy. Fujitora has impressive swordsmanship besides great power level by which he could defeat a fair amount of the characters in the Anime. Although he can’t see and only relies on his senses.
Considered a monster when it comes to battling, with power so impressive he became part of the main villain’s force and obviously for very good reasons.
4. Gildarts
Anime: Fairy Tail (2009)
Nothing can stop this man from taking on dragons to fight troublesome opponents and going on adventures. How did Gildarts become one of the disabled anime characters? In a battle with Acnologia, he was the only one who survived against the powerful beast by just losing only an arm and a leg. After this, despite having a natural disadvantage against his foes, he became even more eager to battle than he did before.
Anyone would’ve thought such an injury would cause him to step away from adventures or journeys however, the effect was the exact opposite than suspected and he became more prompt to them.

What Luffy wanted, is what he has. If Shanks wanted to be the pirate king, he probably could. In fact, considering his insane power: Ability to see the future and outstanding swordsmanship were the tip of the iceberg. He also has an absolutely strong Haki without the consumption of a devil fruit. Previously, in an attempt to save Luffy from the sea king, Shanks was left with only one arm; it was only the bare minimum for the nonchalant Shanks. There are numerous ages of audiences that look up to the beloved pirate and he certainly is an inspiration to all. He truly is one of our favorite disabled anime characters.
1. Guts
Anime: Berserk (1997 – 1998)
Berserk was one hell of an Anime and we couldn’t agree more. Guts however, is now known as a character with a body of steel, a heart of a rock and a mind full of passion and courage. Losing a hand was the least of his problems even if it became a problem in a fight.
He couldn’t care less. Having lost an arm and partial blindness was no excuse. Although, it became a serious problem at some point. But there was nothing to stop this man from reaching his goals whether it had been for vengeance or for peace. He’s the greatest of the Disabled Anime Characters.
