Pocket camp animal crossing Complete is now available since the release on December 2, 2024. It replaces the original free-to-play app with the pricing being currently US$19.99. However after the completion, there will be no in-game transaction as per Nintendo’s wish (So far). No more microtransactions means it’s a one-time fee for the app, and there are no additional in-app purchases. The app includes all of the content that was previously released for the original animal crossing, including events, items, and characters, or your personal progress.
What Is Animal Crossing Pocket Camp?
Pocket camp animal crossing is a mobile game in the Animal Crossing series. It was originally released in 2017 until on December 2, 2024, a new version called pocket camp animal crossing Complete was released. It’s a mobile game where you manage your own campsite and befriend cute animal villagers. You can fish, craft furniture, cook food, and decorate your campsite to your liking. You can also visit your friends’ campsites and trade items. It’s basically a cutesy camping game similar to the popular Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Changes In The Incomplete Ver. Vs Complete Ver.
Pocket camp animal crossing Complete offers a more complete and streamlined experience compared to the original version. It removes the need for microtransactions, allows for offline play, and provides more content and customization options. In general, the complete version brings out worthwhile upgrades:
Payment Model: Previously, the game was free-to-play with in-app purchases (microtransactions). pocket camp animal crossing Complete is a One-time purchase, no microtransactions.
Offline Play: Before the complete version, players could not enter the game without an internet connection. Thankfully, the game can be played offline. Remember, playing with other players will require an internet connection.
Friend System: The friend’s system was a bit wacky because of a friend list limited by device compatibility and online status. New changes bring to the table a Camper Cards system replacing the friend list. Allowing you to register more campers, including those who may not be online.
Content and Events: The previous version only included Limited content and events, some even requiring microtransactions or time-limited availability. The complete version includes all previous content for free, and new content and events will be added until September 2025.
Customization: Players could not change their camping scenery more openly, due to Limited customization options, especially for campers and campsites. Now introducing more and available customization options, including the ability to save multiple campsite layouts.
New Features
You can now directly import custom designs from the games’ brotherly counterpart, Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The currency has also been adjusted, making it easier to earn and spend. Soon in the future Nintendo plans to add more new events and features to the complete version very soon.

Is Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Ending?
Unfortunately, Nintendo plans to continue supporting the app with new content and updates until at least September 2025. pocket camp animal crossing will technically be ‘Shutting down’ due to no future updates or any sort of adjustments after the deadline. So, enjoy new events, cool features and the cozy world of countryside camping. It’s all worth it till Mid-2025!
